Welcome to The Company – where we are more than just a dance studio, we are a family. Our mission is to foster strong bonds among our members as they thrive in their dance journey and in life.

The Company has a rich history dating back to 1990 when the Rose Thayer Academy of Dance launched its competitive dance program. Though our name has evolved over time, our core focus remains the same.

Competitiveness is in our DNA. Since our inception, our talented members have consistently brought home countless awards. We proudly take part in multiple regional and national competitions every year. To audition, aspiring members must have prior experience in ballet, tap, and jazz.

We believe in a well-rounded dance education for all our dancers. That’s why every member of the Company participates in ballet, tap, jazz, and Hip Hop routines. This approach ensures our dancers can easily adapt to different styles, whether it’s auditioning for a drill team or cheerleading in high school, joining a dance company in college, or pursuing a professional dance career. This versatility sets our members apart from the rest.

To enhance our dance education, our members receive instruction from our experienced studio staff as well as guest instructors. This exposes them to different teaching styles, allowing them to thrive in any instructional setting. Our guest instructors come from diverse backgrounds and are respected figures in the dance community.

As we embark on our 33rd year of competitive dance, our members are training together to achieve team performances, personal growth, and carry forward the legacy of dance excellence.
